JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Machinists to perform advanced machining operations in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC and/or manual machines, performing machine setups, reading blueprints, inspecting machined components, and working with close-tolerance parts.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate multiple CNC and manual machine tools safely and efficiently
• Perform advanced machine setups with minimal supervision
• Execute complex machining operations to produce high-precision parts and tooling components
• Inspect parts before, during, and after machining to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform limited CNC programming and editing when required
• Assemble tooling components and fixtures using precision measuring instruments and hand tools
• Interpret manufacturing plans, blueprints, specifications, sketches, and work instructions
• Identify machining issues and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate production documentation and timekeeping records
• Follow all company safety standards and manufacturing procedures
• Assist with training or demonstrating basic machining operations when requested
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience operating CNC and/or manual machine tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
• Understanding of machining processes, tooling, and machine setups
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Strong shop math skills related to machining operations
• Experience working with various metals and materials preferred
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
