If you take pride in flawless setups, smooth changeovers, and holding tolerances down to ±.0005″, you'll feel right at home. This position requires a forward thinker with the knowledge and ability to manufacture precision parts for the Plastic Injection Industry. If you are a talented and motivated CNC Machinist, that thrives in a high precision environment, please submit your resume for further consideration.Responsibilities:Load fixtures, tools, and programs; perform offsets and probe cyclesSwap tooling and fixtures between jobs with minimal downtimeRead blueprints/CAD drawings and make appropriate G code adjustmentsUse micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM to ensure ±0.0005″ accuracyDiagnose issues (tool wear, chatter, program errors) and implement fixes Log setup sheets, inspection records, and machine maintenanceDetermine the appropriate tooling, work holding, and machining process needed to produce a high-quality metal part.Produce high quality products.Maintain a safe work environment.Participate in continuous improvement activities.Work to verbal and written instructions.Support an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates.
