Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes mills grinders) according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and G-code to determine machining operations. Monitor machine operations detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges). Load and unload parts ensuring proper clamping and tooling. Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or adjust offsets as needed. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating setting up and programming (editing) CNC milling and/or turning machines. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and G-code/M-code. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and bore gauges. Strong understanding of tooling machining processes and various material properties. Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common operational issues. Adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g. Mastercam Fusion 360 SolidWorks CAM). Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or other advanced metrology equipment. Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Experience with 5-axis machining or exotic materials (e.g. titanium Inconel).
