Pay: $26 - $36/hour + 20% Shift Differential

About the Role

Tecomet is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist II to join our 2nd shift milling department at our state-of-the-art facility in Riviera Beach, FL. This position focuses on producing tight-tolerance medical components-including screws, plates, anchors, and surgical tools-used in life-changing procedures.

We're looking for machinists with solid setup and operating skills in CNC milling (mill-turn or Swiss experience a plus). We'll provide cross-training and career development opportunities in a clean, climate-controlled shop just minutes from the beach.

Shift & Schedule

2nd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (5 Days/Week)

  • 20% shift differential
  • 4x10 schedule for a great work-life balance
  • Occasional weekend overtime available

What You'll Do

Set up and operate CNC mills (3-, 4-, and 5-axis) to tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
Make offsets, change tooling, and monitor tool wear
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
Maintain quality standards (OOQ) and follow GMP/GDP documentation requirements
Perform light maintenance and follow preventive maintenance schedules
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

️ Requirements

Required:

  • 3+ years CNC machining experience (milling preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
  • Comfortable running multiple machines
  • US Citizenship or Green Card (ITAR compliance)

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree, machinist certificate, or apprenticeship
  • Mill-turn or Swiss machining experience
  • Medical or aerospace manufacturing background
