  • Weekend AM Shift: Fri-Sun, 12-hour shifts
• Overtime: Yes, especially Spring/Fall
• Experience Level: Mid / Senior (5+ years)
• Work Authorization: U.S. Person (for ITAR compliance)

Why This Role Exists

Tecomet is expanding its Mill Turn department to meet growing demand in medical device and aerospace manufacturing. This role is critical to producing tight-tolerance, high-complexity components in a clean, high-tech environment.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC mill-turn machines and lathes to produce precision parts
• Read blueprints, part drawings, and follow work instructions
• Run jobs with complex geometries using medical-grade materials
• Adjust offsets and tooling for optimal results
• Support engineering with fixture/process improvement feedback
• Complete documentation, quality checks, and first article inspections
• Collaborate with team leads, QC, and programmers
• Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives

Machines, Controls & Software

• Machines: Doosan SMX, Doosan Lynx, Willemin-Macodel, EDM
• Controls: Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain (training available)
• Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators

Materials You'll Work With

• Titanium
• Stainless Steel
• Cobalt Chrome
• Inconel
• Plastics

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Strong setup experience with multi-axis or mill-turn equipment
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Skilled in tooling, offsets, and in-process inspection
• Comfortable with high-mix, tight-tolerance parts
• Team-first mindset and safety-focused

Preferred:

• Mill-turn or simultaneous 5-axis experience
• Experience in medical or aerospace industries
• CAM programming familiarity (Mastercam or similar)

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

Pay: $25 - $35/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differential: 20% for 2nd shift
