Pay: $38 - $42/hour + 10% shift differential (night shift only)
About the Role
Tecomet is hiring CNC Machinist III professionals to join our Wilmington, MA team on both Day and Night Shifts. Whether you're a milling expert or lathe-focused machinist, you'll work with cutting-edge materials like Titanium and Inconel to produce tight-tolerance parts for aerospace and defense applications.

Available Shifts
Day Shift - Lathe Focus
- Focus: CNC lathes (mill-turn experience is a plus)
- Setup and operate high-precision turning machines
- Pay: $38 - $42/hour
Night Shift - Milling Focus (5-Axis)
- Focus: CNC mills (mostly 3+2; 5-axis), some lathe experience helpful
- Materials: Titanium, Inconel
- Pay: $38 - $42/hour + 10% shift differential

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills or lathes)
Work from blueprints and inspect tight-tolerance parts
Troubleshoot minor issues, adjust offsets, and replace tooling
Collaborate with engineering on process improvements
Maintain accurate documentation and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/GDP)
Train and mentor junior machinists as needed
Work in a clean, safety-first environment using advanced technology
️ Requirements
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (setup & operation)
- Experience with 5-axis milling or CNC turning
- Ability to read blueprints and use metrology tools
- Familiarity with G-code and CAM systems
- US Citizenship or Green Card required (ITAR compliance)
Preferred:
- Mill-turn experience
- Wire EDM exposure
- Prior aerospace or defense machining background
