Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills lathes grinders) according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and G-code programs. Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools. Monitor machine operations detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments or minor repairs. Load raw materials and unload finished or semi-finished components. Adjust machine offsets and tooling as required to maintain part quality and adherence to tolerances. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean organized and safe work environment. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in setting up operating and troubleshooting 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC mills and/or lathes. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints schematics and GD&T specifications. Demonstrated experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers and bore gauges. Working knowledge of G-code and M-code programming with ability to perform minor edits. Understanding of various tooling inserts and materials (e.g. aluminum steel plastics). Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g. Mastercam SolidWorks CAM). Experience operating advanced metrology equipment (e.g. CMM). Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
