Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes mills grinders) according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work orders to determine part specifications and machining sequences. Perform quality control checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges). Load raw materials into machines and unload finished or semi-finished parts. Monitor machine operations detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve common machining issues and machine alarms. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functionality and longevity. Recommended Qualifications Proven 3-5 years of experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and GD&T specifications. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers bore gauges) for quality inspection. Ability to perform tool changes offset adjustments and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery. Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program adjustments and optimization. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for program generation or modification. Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g. CMM optical comparators). Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or troubleshooting. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (e.g. 5S Kaizen).
