CNC Machinist/Programmer – Leland, NC We’re looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team at our machine shop in Leland, NC. This role provides the opportunity to work with a variety of manual and automated machines to produce and repair precision parts that meet exact specifications.If you take pride in your craftsmanship, have strong attention to detail, and value quality and safety, we’d love to hear from you!Schedule:Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMWhat You’ll Do:Operate and maintain manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and Wire EDM.Program CNC machines and work from blueprints, drawings, or sample parts.Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerances.Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Plan machining sequences, determine batch sizes, and set speeds and feeds for optimal efficiency.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.What We’re Looking For:Proven experience as a machinist or CNC programmer.Ability to operate and/or program manual, semi-automated, or automated machines to machine and/or fabricate parts from drawings or samples.Experience with CNC lathe, milling, and manual machining.Experience with MasterCam and Inventor software is a plus.Strong understanding of metal properties and machining processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.Strong math and analytical skills to use precision measuring instruments to determine dimensions and tolerances.Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.Valid driver’s license preferred.Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.Compensation & Type:Pay: Based on experienceJob Type: Full-timeRelocation AssistanceIf you’re a motivated, detail-oriented machinist who enjoys working in a hands-on environment — apply today and join our growing team in Leland!
