Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills lathes grinders) according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints G-code and technical drawings to determine machining operations. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges). Adjust machine controls and offsets to ensure part accuracy and optimize production. Perform routine machine maintenance cleaning and troubleshoot minor operational issues. Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and GD&T. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and bore gauges. Basic understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting. Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common machining issues.
