Job Description: Overview: The Mill Machine Operator plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, utilizing advanced 5-axis milling machines to produce intricate and high-precision components. This position requires expertise in CNC programming, setup, and operation to ensure the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Shifts we are hiring for:

A Shift: Monday- Thursday 6:00AM-4:00PM

B Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 8:00PM-6:00AM plus a 15% Shift Premium

C Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00AM-6:00PM paid for 40 hours

D Shift: Thursday- Saturday 6:00PM-6:00AM paid for 40 hour plus a 15% shift premium

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines to fabricate complex components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust cutting parameters as necessary to optimize production efficiency and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring continuous process improvement.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC machinist or mill operator with expertise in 5-axis machining.
• Strong technical knowledge of 5-axis CNC programming, tooling, and machining practices.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade school program in machining or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
• Prior CNC Milling operation experience preferred, especially in a manufacturing or medical device environment.
