CNC Operator at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
Join a leading metals-based med-tech solutions partner specializing in precision engineering and innovation. We focus on producing critical components for medical markets such as Robotic Assisted Surgery, Orthopedics, Surgical Instruments, and Dental applications. Our collaborative teams are dedicated to advancing medical technology and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Operate multiple CNC machines in a team-based environment.
- Perform general and daily maintenance on machines to ensure production continuity.
- Ensure the quality of parts through regular inspections during production.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines as outlined by the company.
- Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing.
- Inspect parts using visual and manual equipment such as calipers and micrometers, as well as programmed CMM equipment (training provided).
- Make offsets and change tooling according to the provided layout (training provided).
- Communicate job status and part quality with team members and management.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in operating CNC machines or non-CNC machine operating experience with micrometers, calipers, and blueprints.
- Ability to perform documentation of machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CNC setup experience with mills and lathes is a plus.
- Mechanically inclined with experience in deburring and grinding.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
