Duties include operating CNC lathes and milling machines preparing and loading of parts and daily inspection and maintenance to ensure all quality requirements are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ensure parts are machined to meet production goals including cycle time quantity and quality. Operate CNC lathes and milling machines. Prepare and loads raw materials and parts onto CNC machines. Handle materials appropriately and safely. Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.Perform in-process inspection of machine parts to ensure manufacturing adherence to all quality regulations. Measure and check dimensions and tolerances using measuring devices including (but not limited to) calipers micrometers and gauges. Perform daily maintenance on CNC machinery. Conduct routine inspection and replace worn-out tooling as needed.Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Perform daily 6S activities to ensure organization and cleanliness of work area. Perform necessary transactions in ERP system to maintain accurate inventory.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experienceBasic understanding of CNC G-codes and M-codesBasic skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement toolsProficiency in basic math skills (addition subtraction multiplication division fractions decimalsHaas Controller Experience preferredQuality assurance experience preferredQUALIFICATIONSAbility to thrive in a fast-paced team-focused environmentMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be authorized to work in the USPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are represented of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
