Job DescriptionJob Summary:Operate and setup CNC Milling Machines to fabricate precision components parts.Reporting To:Production ManagerEssential Job FunctionsSetup, troubleshoot, program, and operate 5 axis Hurco CNC mill.Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and other accessories according to specificationsAppropriately modify or edit programs.Make appropriate offsets and adjustments to tools.Read and interpret blueprints.Properly use calipers, veneers, and thread gauges.Complete required inspection checks.Operate header machines as needed.Properly and safely load and unload machines.Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.Skills and AbilitiesEffectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and writtenProblem-solving skillsAttention to detail with precision equipment and productsAbility to perform basic mathematical computationsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.
