JOB DESCRIPTION

CNC Machine Programmer/Operator

We are seeking a self-motivated CNC machine programmer/operator for our first shift operation in the Development Center. This role demands a high level of expertise in programming and operating a CNC machine, specifically the Accord 20 FX or similar models.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate prototype parts by programming and operating an Accord 20 FX CNC with a Xilog Plus Operator Interface.
  • Set up and program CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software.
  • Optimize CNC tooling feeds and speeds with various materials.
  • Work effectively as a team member and manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Communicate progress on assigned work to achieve required timelines.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
  • Follow required safety, ergonomic, and environmental procedures.
  • Build part clamping fixtures using appropriate materials and tools.
  • Conduct quality checks to confirm the accuracy of work completed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • CNC programming ability for Accord 20 FX CNC control system and MasterCAM.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
  • Advanced blueprint reading capabilities.
  • Knowledgeable in fixture and tool design.
  • Proficient with the selection of tooling for a broad range of materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in CNC Programming and Machining.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Fenestration/window product knowledge is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Able to work flexible hours to support prototype builds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Health Vision Dental 401K PTO Profit Sharing
