CNC Programmer and Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer and Operator responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for extrusion tooling solutions. This role involves programming CNC mills and wire EDM machines to ensure precision and efficiency, as well as reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate cutting tools, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for extrusion tooling solutions.
• Program CNC mills and wire EDM machines for precise and efficient tooling production.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to guide the programming process.
• Select appropriate cutting tools for various manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during manufacturing to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CNC programming software such as CAM systems and G-code.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
• Skills in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and machinery operation.
• No formal degree or certifications required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
