We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for programming and CNC machines to produce precise components. Your expertise in CNC operating, programming, blueprint reading and fabrication will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently. Familiar with Italpresse machine highly desirable.
Duties
Set up/program, operate, and monitor CNC cutting machines to produce accurate parts according to specifications.
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
Utilize hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection of finished parts.
Operate forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment to move raw materials or finished products safely within the facility.
Programming/tooling setup and changeovers to maintain production efficiency.
Support quality assurance by inspecting parts for defects and ensuring adherence to specifications through visual checks and measurement tools.
Experience
Proven experience programing and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings.
Hands-on experience with fabrication processes.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for quality control.
Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions and tolerances accurately.
Knowledge of safety procedures.
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, sheet metal fabrication.
