This role exists due to continued growth in custom retail display manufacturing at Ace Designs.

With a steady pipeline of unique, high-mix projects, this position plays a key role in producing custom wood and plastic display components with a strong focus on quality, precision, and on-time delivery.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Operate and maintain CNC routers for wood and plastic components
• Load programs and make basic edits at the machine as needed
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and routine machine maintenance
• Verify setups and ensure proper workholding
• Run high-mix, custom jobs (not repetitive production)
• Perform in-process inspection using basic measuring tools
• Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to maintain quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with production and design teams to meet deadlines

Machines, Controls & Equipment

You'll work with:

• Machines: CNC Routers (wood & plastics applications)
• Controls: Router-based CNC controls (varies by machine)
• Inspection Tools: Calipers, basic measuring tools

What We're Looking ForRequired:

• Experience with CNC routers, woodworking, or plastics machining
• Basic understanding of machine operation, tooling, and setups
• Ability to read basic prints and follow specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and grow in a production environment

Preferred (Not Required):

• Prior CNC operator experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with custom or high-mix production work
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
