Job DescriptionCNC Setup Machinist – Ipswich, MAPay: $25.00 – $36.00/hour (based on experience)Hours: 40–50 per week | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | Overtime AvailableEmployer: D&D Manufacturing LLCAbout the RoleD&D Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Machinist to join our precision machining team in Ipswich, MA. This is a full-time, hands-on machining position where you’ll be setting up and running CNC mills and lathes in a dynamic job shop environment.ResponsibilitiesSet up CNC milling and turning machines (Haas, Mazak, Fanuc controls) with proper tooling and fixturesInterpret blueprints, GD&T, hand sketches, and verbal instructions to machine precision componentsMachine parts from steel, stainless steel, tool steels, aluminum, plastics, and exotic alloysEnsure quality throughout the process using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, height gages, etc.)Work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-mix environmentQualificationsMinimum 2 years CNC milling experience in a job shop environmentStrong knowledge of CNC setup for both mills and lathesAbility to read and understand blueprints & GD&TFamiliarity with Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas controlsExperience with inspection equipment and machining tolerancesWhy Join D&D Manufacturing?At D&D, we believe in hiring skilled craftsmen and investing in advanced technology.
