Job Description SummaryWith minimal supervision troubleshoots repair maintains machinery such as Robotic cells Coordinate-measuring machine CNC equipment and automation systems.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Use PLC software to monitor the logic and diagnose issues test input/output devices.Troubleshoot and replaces Glass scales encoders servo drives servo motors analog and digital sensors etc.Experience using multimeters clamp meters and voltage testers to measure voltage current and oscilloscope testing devices.Knowledge in preventive maintenance for CNC equipment & Robotic arms experience with ball bar testing.Works closely with maintenance engineer to resolve unusual machine or system failures.Observes mechanical devices in operation and locates causes of trouble identifies and performs required repair/maintenanceDismantles devices to gain access and remove defective/faulty equipment partsInspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirementsAdjusts functional parts of devices and other operational equipmentRepairs or replaces defective partsInstalls necessary functional and structural parts in devices and other equipmentLubricates cleans and performs preventive maintenance on parts/equipmentStarts devices to test their performance and performs necessary adjustmentsSets up and operates lathe drill press grinder and other metalworking tools to make and repair partsBasic CNC programing & Fanuc TP programmingInitiates purchase order for parts and machines as neededRepairs electrical equipmentRepairs and maintains machinery plumbing HVAC and preventative maintenanceFollows the sites electronic preventive maintenance and work order scheduleResponsible for quality assurance aspects relative to the job/task performedMaintains work area housekeeping and assist in department/team housekeeping effortsAdheres to and follow all safety procedures i.e. lock-out/tag-out; report safety concerns use appropriate PPE as required and follow all safety practicesWork on general facilities assignments as needQualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma/GEDMinimum 10 years of experience in production equipment maintenanceFanuc PMC and Alan Bradly PLC experience. Willing and able to work overtime and any shift and weekendsRequires the ability to read write and speak the English language: interpret and follow written procedures i.e. AWI (Aviation Work Instructions) etc. complete documentation i.e. routers etc. and follow verbal instructionsRequires the ability to read blueprints and schematicsOperate a man lift forklift and articulated boom liftMust be proficient in repairing and maintaining machinery in operating conditionHave demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair/replace mechanical and electro-mechanical systemsWorking knowledge of MS Outlook and MS ExcelELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:Must pass physical background and drug screensDesired Characteristics:Associates degree or 2-year certificate in maintenance of electrical hydraulic mechanical and/or building maintenanceExperience using maintenance systemEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityProven experience and willingness to be self-directed and identify improvement processesAbility and willingness to work effectively with others in a team settingFollow and promote safe work practicesCommunicate effectively with othersThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
