COATI operates food service through our pods inside our eclectic and eventful space. Line cooks assist guests with placing their orders, making those items and ensuring they are delivered to the guest fast! We are hiring!!Become a part of our crew!Job duties include following recipes to specifications of Chef and Lead Prep Cook, dish washing, maintaining kitchen standard of cleanliness. Must have organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, and ability to function very well under pressure. We are a high volume space, so excellent teamwork is a must.Position: CookHourly: $14.42 TRAINING WAGE13+Tips Per Hour- AVERAGES $19/hrJob Type: Part or Full-TimeRoles and Responsibilities:Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standardsFollow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our foodAssist in the preparation of ingredientsEnsure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented in an attractive and appetizing mannerCollaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure that orders are completed quickly and efficientlyClean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as the work area, to ensure a safe and hygienic environmentAssist in the development of specials, as well as the creation of prep lists and par levelsContinuously seek out ways to improve our dishes, processes, and customer experienceQualifications:A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary industryStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety and sanitation standardsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededWe offer competitive pay, a supportive work environment, and ample opportunities for growth and advancement.
