Youll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes while also communicating and working with other culinary staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.Some of the responsibilities include the following:Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan dutiesLabel and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessibleMeasure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cookingPrepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etcMaintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.Ensure all food and other items are stored properlyComply with nutrition and sanitation guidelinesPerform other kitchen duties as assigned
