Job Description
Bangor Federal Credit Union is looking for a full-time Collections Assistant. The Collections Assistant will work as part of a team that communicates with members and takes appropriate action to resolve delinquent accounts assists the credit union in minimizing losses and maximizing recovery. Position is also responsible for processing repossession orders liquidating collateral and small claims filings.RequirementsAdditional requirements include:One (1) to Three (3) years of similar or related experience.Ability to organize prioritize and respond to multiple tasks and requests.Attention to detail and timelines.Ability to display and communicate with tact and diplomacy to current and potential members peers staff and associates.Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills.Promotes and participates in a cohesive team environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Bangor Federal offers a competitive starting wage and benefit package including: 100% employer paid health insurance life insurance short and long-term disability.
