Through expert advising and passionate advocacy we empower students to thrive academically socially and personally during their time at CSN.Position Overview:The International Student Center is seeking a reliable and motivated work-study student to assist with administrative operations event preparation and data management. This position supports the Centers mission to enhance global engagement and provide quality services to CSNs international community.This role is ideal for a student who enjoys teamwork problem-solving and hands-on event coordination in a multicultural environment.Key Responsibilities:Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.Assist with event preparation and setup including moving tables chairs and materials (must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.).Support logistics for International Student Organization (ISO) activities orientations and cultural programs.Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to track attendance budgets and event details and assist the supervisor in managing and organizing data for departmental reports.Design flyers posters and print materials for events and programs using Canva Google or Microsoft applications.Upload and schedule content for social media platforms to promote events and engage international students.Maintain organized event supplies and assist staff with coordination as needed.Required Qualifications:Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace especially Excel and Google Sheets.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with event setup student programming or customer service.Advanced technology skills and experience with data management (Microsoft Excel Google Sheets or similar tools).Familiarity with basic graphic design platforms such as Canva Adobe Express and similar tools).Enthusiasm for working with international students and supporting multicultural events.NoFull-Time Equivalent48.8%Required Attachment(s)To be considered for the position you must upload the following documents to your applications:ResumeProof youve received the Student Employment Award.
