Collision General Manager at Motocruit

Our Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Collision Manager to lead their collision repair shop. The Collision Manager will oversee all aspects of the collision repair process from estimating to final delivery ensuring that repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality safety and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must have strong leadership skills be able to work collaboratively with other departments and have a deep understanding of collision repair processes and procedures. Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate the workflow of the collision repair shop ensuring repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality safety and customer satisfactionOversee the estimating process ensuring accurate and timely estimates are provided to customers and insurance companiesWork collaboratively with other departments to ensure the timely and efficient completion of repairsManage and train a team of technicians ensuring they are skilled and knowledgeable in their workMonitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as neededEnsure compliance with all safety and environmental regulationsDevelop and maintain relationships with customers and insurance companies ensuring a high level of customer satisfactionManage and maintain all equipment and tools in the collision repair shopManage the budget for the collision repair shop including expenses and revenue generation RequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in collision repair with at least 2 years in a management roleIn-depth knowledge of collision repair processes and procedures including estimating repair techniques and customer serviceStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamProficient in the use of computerized estimating and management systemsValid drivers license Certifications:ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certification in Collision Repair Management is a plusI-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) certification in Collision Repair Management is a plus BenefitsIf you are an experienced and motivated Collision Manager who takes pride in delivering high-quality work we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair with an emphasis on structural repairs. Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment. Experience in frame and suspension alignment. Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals. Attention to detail and quality workmanship. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Relevant certification(s) such as ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred. Experience utilizing Car-O-Liner Chief Genesis or Celette highly preferred Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend stoop and reach overhead. We are seeking candidates for this position who meet specific qualifications. A valid drivers license is a mandatory requirement and successful candidates must also pass a mandatory drug test. Additionally a clean driving record is essential for consideration.
