Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Groton, Ct.Clearance: SecretVMR Strategic Solutions is seeking a Senior AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Systems Technician to add to our team. The successful candidate will provide technical evaluation and perform the required corrective actions for AN/BYG-1 systems in accordance with DoD, Navy Maintenance Procedures, and Cyber System instructions; The technician will assist in the disassembly, reassembly, installation and testing of the AN/BYG-1 systems of submarines and provide support in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, operation of AN/BYG-1 systems in accordance with engineering specifications. Duties:Assist with test and evaluation; perform validations/verifications of AN/BYG-1systemsAssist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvementsSupport systems engineering activities with subject matter expertiseDirect on-site customer interface for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as neededQualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or an equivalentHands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, repairing networking equipment and Windows servers and workstationsUS Military systems/network experienceAN/BYG-1 Combat Systems ExperienceAbility to travel up to 10% of the timeWorking Environment:Onsite Clearance:Secret
