Position Overview:Sealing Technologies a Parsons Company is looking for a systems engineer who will provide mission-focused technical support for the customer environment. This position ensures systems and networks remain fully functional secure and optimized for real-time mission execution. This role may perform inventory management equipment repair and replacement system patching and updating system imaging system configurations troubleshooting and testing to maintain readiness and performance.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of all hardware and software assets; track equipment assignments returns and lifecycle statusDiagnose hardware issues and perform repairs or coordinate replacements to ensure minimal downtimeApply regular software and security updates to ensure all systems remain compliant stable and secureCreate deploy and manage system images for new or re-imaged devices to ensure consistent configuration across the organizationConfigure workstations servers and network devices according to organizational standards and project requirementsPerform Tier 13 troubleshooting to isolate and resolve hardware software or network issuesDocument incident details root cause and resolution steps in accordance with established processesSupports escalation to specialized engineering teams or vendors as necessary.Conduct operational recovery and continuity actions during mission-impacting eventsMaintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) test guides and operational turnover documentationSupport deployment configuration and connectivity of Forge Services across virtualized and physical nodesEvaluate and test new equipment and applications to verify functionality compatibility and performance before deploymentMinimum Qualifications:U.S. Citizenship.4 years of experience or equivalent educationTechnical knowledge of Windows Linux and virtualized environmentsAble to support pre-existing built environments with documentationProficiency in hardware software and network troubleshootingMeets DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (can be obtained w/in first 6 months of employment)Strong customer service and communication skillsAbility to obtain TS/SCI security clearanceAbility to travel within the United States <15% of the timeMust be willing to work on site 5 days a weekThe ability to lift 50 pounds regularlyPreferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of any programming or scripting languageAny experience supporting the military or DoDA and Sec CertificationSealing Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin disability veteran status or any other protected status.
