Commercial Carpenter at Kalos Services

Kalos Services is a family-owned and operated General Contractor and Residential Service Provider serving the Central Florida region. We are looking for a skilled reliable and detail-driven Commercial Carpenter to join our growing team. If youre the kind of person who can walk onto a jobsite and know exactly what needs to be donethis role is for you.This position involves overnight travel including working in open operational facilities. Work will include punch lists small projects repairs and assisting on larger construction jobs. We need someone who can handle a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision and takes pride in craftsmanship.Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience.Responsibilities:Inspect repair and replace damaged frameworks structures and fixturesSafely operate hand tools power tools and woodworking machineryRead and interpret blueprints drawings and project specificationsMeasure cut and shape wood plastics and other materials with precisionConstruct install and repair: Frames Partitions Joists Studding Rafters Trim and finish components Perform drywall installation and finishingFinish surfaces: walls ceilings doors cabinetry and furnitureMaintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail on every taskRequirementsProven experience across multiple carpentry disciplinesStrong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanshipAbility to manage tasks independently with minimal instructionExcellent problem-solving skills and a figure-it-out mindsetHigh personal integrity professionalism and communication skillsComfortable working overnight shifts and traveling throughout FloridaAbility to lift 50 lbs. kneel climb ladders and perform physical workRequired Skills and ExperienceFramingSidingTrim carpentryDrywall installation & finishingAbility to read plans and construction documentsSafe operation of carpentry tools and equipmentAdditional Requirements:Ability to pass a drug test and background checkClean valid drivers licenseReliable transportationBenefits:At Kalos we believe in supporting our employees both at work and in life.
