Off the back of a $75million Series C funding round, this is a unique opportunity to help spearhead Luminance's sales team, leading a team of Account Executives and working with businesses spanning every sector, from major manufacturing companies and high growth technology companies to global retailers and pharmaceutical giants.

As a Commercial Director you will lead, manage, and motivate an enterprise sales team to achieve key metrics and deliver exceptional results. You will also oversee the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, proof-of-value (POV) design/deployment, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals. In addition, you will be key in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with Luminance's global business objectives.

What You'll Do
  • Lead & Inspire: Manage and motivate a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Support recruitment and development to build a high-performing sales function.
  • Drive Enterprise Growth: Own the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle - from pipeline generation and qualification to POV design, negotiation, and closing deals with Fortune 1000 and high-growth companies.
  • Shape Strategy: Work closely with global leadership to design and execute go-to-market strategies that capture market share in the U.S. and align with Luminance's global objectives.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless delivery, customer adoption, and long-term success.
  • Deliver Results: Consistently meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets while providing clear, accurate forecasting and performance insights to senior leadership.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven Sales Record: 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong track record of winning new enterprise business, ideally within SaaS, AI, or other cutting-edge technologies.
  • Emerging Leader: 1+ years of experience managing or mentoring sales professionals, with the drive to grow into a senior leadership role in a scaling business.
  • Enterprise Acumen: Demonstrated success selling into complex organizations with long sales cycles; strong understanding of enterprise procurement and stakeholder management.
  • Storytelling Ability: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technology in a compelling, value-driven narrative to senior executives.
  • Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Skilled in forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and sales process optimization.
  • Collaborative & Entrepreneurial: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where autonomy and creativity are valued.
  • Academic Excellence: Bachelor's or Master's degree (GPA 3.5+ or 2:1 equivalent).
