Commercial HVAC Installer at McCaw Heating & Cooling

McCaw Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Installer / Technician to join our growing commercial division. This role is ideal for a well-rounded professional who can lead installs, read and interpret mechanical drawings, troubleshoot systems, and perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commercial HVAC installations from start to finish

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications

• Coordinate on-site work with project managers and superintendents

• Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC systems and controls

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on commercial equipment

• Ensure all work complies with code, safety standards, and project requirements

• Maintain clean, organized job sites and accurate documentation

• Operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience

• Proven ability to act as a lead installer / field lead

• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and components

• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings

• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience with preventative maintenance programs

• Clean driving record (required)

• Valid driver's license

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• EPA Certification

• Experience with packaged units, split systems, VRF/VRV, and/or controls

• Familiarity with commercial construction environments
