Job DescriptionA Commercial Lines Account Manager at an independent insurance agency plays a pivotal role in managing and servicing commercial insurance accounts. This position requires a blend of technical insurance knowledge client relationship management and administrative skills. Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison between clients insurance carriers and internal teams ensuring client needs are met promptly and effectively.Policy Administration: Handle all aspects of policy management including quoting binding issuing certificates processing endorsements and managing renewals.Coverage Analysis: Review and analyze clients insurance needs providing consultative advice on coverage options exclusions and exposures.Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system documenting all communications and transactions.Collaboration with Producers: Work closely with producers to support new business development and ensure seamless service delivery to clients.Client Education: Educate clients on policy terms audit procedures and risk management strategies to help them make informed decisions.
