Job Details
We are seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced attorneys to handle complex construction disputes, commercial contract matters, and related litigation. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of construction law matters, from transactional advice and project planning to dispute resolution and courtroom litigation.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in construction litigation, including bid disputes, construction defect claims, surety matters, and commercial contract disputes.
Assist clients in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings, including mediation and arbitration.
Provide guidance on construction project planning, contract negotiation, risk management, and compliance matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to construction projects.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and advocate for clients in court or ADR settings.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide timely updates on case developments.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice in Florida; additional licensure in Southeastern states a plus.
Strong academic background and demonstrated interest in construction law and complex commercial litigation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
