Commercial Loan Officer at Broadview Federal Credit Union

Serve as a liaison to commercial/community groups and agencies and actively promote commercial and special lending initiatives in designated geographical areas. Cultivate relationships with commercial and community entities providing the highest possible level of service.Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:Promote develop and manage commercial relationshipsEstablish and maintain high visibility in the community working with special lending initiatives for commercial loansAssist in the development of special lending programs to support the under-servedFacilitate and host presentations for community groups and businesses on Broadview products and servicesReview a borrowers financial data credit and collateral to determine the companys creditworthiness and feasibility of granting a member business loanObtain and compile copies of loan applicants credit history corporate financial statements and other relevant financial informationTravel within all Broadview market areas to call on businesses community groups agencies and members - Some travel and overnight trips to the Binghamton and Syracuse marketsReview all commercial files for accuracy prior to submission for approvalAct as the primary contact with members requesting commercial loansAssist with the development enhancement and implementation of products and services geared for commercial/community accounts.Assist in the management and risk of the commercial portfolioAssist with the continued growth of Broadviews presence in the SBA MarketPartner with the Business Solutions Advisors to enhance product offerings educate members and develop more holistic relationships while ensuring long-term sustainability and profitable growthParticipate on selected community and non-for-profit boards within the communityOther duties as neededMinimum Job Qualifications:Bachelors Degree (BA) or equivalent; Masters Degree PreferredMinimum of 2 years of experience with commercial or community lending originating loans; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be consideredStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelFinancial training and credit counseling experience preferredCompensation:$00/year plus a competitive benefits packageBilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.We are an equal opportunity employer.
