Youll work closely with senior stakeholders across public and private sectors bringing strategic insight and financial rigor to every initiative. This role is based at the Melbourne Zoo site with the flexibility to work under a hybrid model (3 days onsite 2 days remote).Main responsibilitiesLead accurate and timely month-end closing processesPartner with internal stakeholders to enhance financial performancePrepare detailed budgets and forecastsManage contract compliance including price escalations and variationsConduct performance reviews against contractual benchmarksOwn end-to-end commercial responsibility for key projectsSupport bid modelling and project retention strategiesIdentify and implement streamlined commercial processesDeliver end-of-month P&L reporting and client invoicingAbout youWere looking for someone who brings both commercial acumen and strategic thinking with a passion for hospitality and innovation.Essential Qualifications & ExperienceAccounting degree and CA/CPA Australia membership57 years experience in a commercial accounting environmentStrong technical and analytical skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel proficiencyProven ability to influence senior operational leaders through data-driven insightsDesirable AttributesExperience leading and developing high-performing multi-site teamsAbility to build and maintain complex client relationships at a senior levelA forward-thinking mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiencesExposure to diverse food and beverage environments from casual cafés to premium restaurantsWere committed to creating a workplace that celebrates diversity and empowers all team members to thrive.
