Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Sheetrock Finisher and Commercial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing, finishing, and painting drywall surfaces for commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver high-quality finishes within project timelines.Key Responsibilities:Install, tape, and finish drywall to a smooth, paint-ready surface.Apply joint compound, sand surfaces, and ensure proper texture and finish.Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, priming, and masking.Mix and apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to specifications.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines.Qualifications:Proven experience as a sheetrock finisher and painter in commercial settings.Knowledge of drywall installation, finishing techniques, and painting methods.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.Preferred Skills:Experience with spray painting equipment and specialty finishes.Familiarity with commercial construction standards and OSHA safety guidelinesPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:2+ years of commercial painting or drywall finishing experienceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Access to Health insurancePaid time offRetirement plan
