Key responsibilities may include:Supporting the implementation and achievement of J&J goals and objectives with a multinational approach in an international teamLeading special projects across the team including Category Strategy development and executionSupporting procurement activities across a variety of categoriesManaging supplier relationships and identifying supplier innovation opportunitiesConducting competitive sourcing events process improvement initiatives and spending analysesTracking key performance indicators and supporting functional initiativesApplying data-driven insights to inform sourcing decisions and supplier evaluationsExploring and recommending innovative digital tools to enhance procurement processes and supplier collaborationQualifications:Actively enrolled in an accredited university for the duration of the co-op assignment pursuing a Bachelors degree. Completion of undergraduate freshman year is requiredPursuing a degree in business engineering supply chain or a related field.Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills including experience with data analytics tools and techniquesTechnological curiosity and a proactive approach to exploring digital solutions in procurementAbility to work in a matrixed environment with rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlinesExcellent communication presentation and leadership skillsAbility to balance multiple projects and initiatives while delivering resultsProficiency in Microsoft Excel including use of formulas pivot tables and data visualization featuresMust be a self-starter who works independently while contributing to team goalsAbility to work full-time (40 hours per week) and adhere to J&Js Flex policy (minimum 3 days/week in office)Local travel may be required; candidates must provide their own transportationMust be legally authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B) now or in the futureIndustry:HealthcareLocations:Titusville NJ Raritan NJ Spring House PAPermanently authorized to work in the U.S. must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g. H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
