COMMERCIAL SHEET METAL MECHANIC (All Experience Levels) at Branch

Position Summary Hopkins Lacy the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) division of Branch Group is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our well-established growing company. The Sheet Metal Mechanic under the direction of the supervisor will be responsible for the lay out and installation of sections of a complete ductwork system. Duties/Responsibilities Strong/Daily attendance at work-site locationAdheres to and executes company and project safety requirementsInstalls and assembles all forms of duct systems with minimal leaks and reworkInstalls GRDs with minimal rework and minimal punch list items upon completionPractices installation with a level of professional quality and craftsmanshipPrepares daily material lists/needs and relays this information to the sheet metal foreman and sheet metal mechanic IISupervises instructions and trains sheet metal mechanic helpers and laborersNetworks with and help assimilate new hires into the workplaceOperates scissor lifts JLG lifts and forklifts with appropriate trainingParticipates in on-the-job trainingParticipates in Lacy in-house training or trade school classesAssist in the mentoring training and growth of other employee-ownersDuties/Responsibilities Cont.
