Commodities Processor Burrel Fertilizer Plant (Day Shift) at Foster Farms

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)Essential Job Functions:Safely operate front-end loaders two axle tractor and shuttle trailers to transport raw material to the plant in a safe efficient manner.Safely operate two axle tractors with a 40-foot trailer.Maintain vehicles including daily inspections service clean-up and reporting mechanical problems on Vehicle Inspection Reports.Operate a forklift in a safe efficient manner to move supplies. Bag filling and sealing including changes to production codes.  Incumbent will perform quality checks ensuring correct bags for product correct product codes checking weights on bags and sampling as directed.Loading bulk and flatbed trailersBatching weighing out ingredients opening bags to ensure correct formulation.Weighmaster duties as needed.Perform general clean-up around the plant.Additional duties as assignedQualifications : Minimum Requirements:Must be a self-starter who does not need close supervision.Must have the ability to operate a forklift.Having strong numerical/mechanical aptitude.Must be able to work varying shifts weekends and holidays as needed.Must be willing to rotate into various departments with varying job duties as needed.Must have the ability to read write understand and verbally communicate in English.Complete assigned reports clearly and legibly.Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs.Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights above 160 feet and confined spaces.Must be able to work rotating shifts weekends and overtime as needed.Good organizational and problem-solving skills.Additional Information : All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Foster Farms is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities Females Veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.Foster Farms participates in E-Verify during the hire process at all locations for all new Team Members.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Loan Processing,Typing,Data Entry,Customer Service,Organizational skills,Basic Math,Computer Skills,Fraud,Microsoft Outlook,10 Key Calculator,Fair Housing Regulations,Food Processing Experience: years Vacancy: 1
