Working directly in communities bringing hope and healing to youth and families that need it! As part of an integral service team our community-based therapist deliver life changing Mental and Health services to youth and their families referred by schools healthcare providers Family and Children First councils county courts and more.Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor you will help youth and families overcome challenges working toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in their community! At NYAP youre not only a therapist youre a beacon of guidance and advocacy!Working at NYAP:Generous Time off:22 Days of Paid Time Off 11 Paid Holidays Half Day Fridays during the summer!Health and Wellness: Comprehensive healthcare packages for you and your family; Paid Parental leaveProfessional Growth:CEUs ongoing training/education student loan repayment program and supervision hoursAnd So Much More: 401K and 401K Matching flexible hours mileage reimbursement phone allowanceResponsibilitiesProvides individual group and family mental health therapy case management transportation and other professional services to clients servedTravels daily to providecommunity basedservices to and on behalf of youth and families in compliance with organizational contract and regulatory requirements.Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community mental health medical educational psychological vocational and social services.Regularly reviews and modifiesyouth basedplans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.Establishes and maintains strong relationship with assigned foster parents and families of origin.Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youths primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youths case plan.Provides safety assessment crisis response and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth servedMinimum QualificationsMasters Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.LSW or LPC requiredExperience in providing both individual and family therapyExperience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.Experience with TF-CBT preferredDaily travel required with the willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule or duringnon-traditional hours if neededMust be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures socioeconomic ethnic religious and racial backgrounds.You have good computer and technology skillsMust be willing to accept other job duties as assignedDriving and Vehicle RequirementsValid drivers licenseReliable personal transportationGood driving recordMinimum automobile insurance coverage of $100000/$300000 bodily injury liabilityApply today! listed are for eligible employees as outlined by our benefit policy.Qualifications An Equal Opportunity Employer including disability/veterans.
