As a Instructor youll be required to:Implement and document client goalsAssess clients strength and needs in functional vocational and/or daily living skillsDevelop training activities with lesson plans that incorporate client goals client need and client choiceSupervise clients and promote a safe training environment that encourages appropriate social skillsIts fulfilling work that makes an immediate difference in lives. To help our participants you will be provided training and instruction on behavior management communication techniques and assistive technology.About Elim:At Elim we support children and adults with developmental disabilities in pursuing their fullest God-given purpose/potential through a variety of services. These include: pre-school to high school special education; therapeutic and educational programs for students with autism spectrum disorder; vocational training and life skill opportunities for young adults 18-22; day programs for adults with disabilities; and learning programs as an organizational and community catalyst for change.We dream big. Now and in the future.Hours:Monday - Friday 7:30 - 3:30Wages & Benefits:Competitive starting pay of $22.19 - 23.47/hrFull-time benefits package including medical dental vision flex spending retirement planEducation Licenses & Certifications:A HighSchool Diploma or equivalent is required some college is preferredDSP certification required.
