Required QualificationsMust live in or near the East Central Neighborhood of Ogden UT (20th to 30th Streets Washington to Harrison Blvds). There are no education requirements for this position. 3 5 years experience in the East Central Neighborhood and familiarity with the concerns faced by most residents. Able to speak English fluently. Able to communicate clearly and professionally in oral and written formats. Organized dependable and accountable for your work. Committed to complete the 8-month Community Leaders training. Willing to participate in yearly check-ins to track community leadership engagement and long-term effects of the fellowship. Second year fellows will complete additional training in Design and Systems Thinking and Asset Based Community Development at their own pacePreferred QualificationsSpeak a second language relevant to the East Central Neighborhood. Experience building connections with neighbors. Excellent interpersonal skills motivational skills organizational skills facilitation skills and attention to detail.
