This individual acts as a visible and enthusiastic ambassador for UWM leading community outreach efforts and supporting internal and external events that deepen engagement foster connection and showcase UWMs mission in action. This role requires a confident communicator thoughtful planner and passionate team player who can work cross-functionally with program donor and investment teams to create meaningful experiences that reflect the care and commitment of our organization.Responsibilities:Community Engagement and Outreach (33%)Leads the planning and execution of UWM outreach events includingbut not limited tocommunity fairs parades tabling events and materials distributionRepresents UWM at community events with professionalism enthusiasm and expert fluency in our mission programs and impact areasManages UWMs internal speakers bureau to coordinate staff representation at outreach eventsIdentifies strategic visibility opportunities that align with UWMs mission and ensure the most effective use of staff time and resourcesIntakes and assess event participation requests in collaboration with internal teamsManages and distributes all event giveaways and materials for events and requests from team membersEvent Planning and Execution (33%)Supports events director on anchor UWM events such as Annual Meeting Campaign Kickoff and All-Staff OffsiteServes as the lead event planner for experiences including Volunteer Awards Luncheon Golf Tournaments and other events assigned by the Director of Events and Operations.Coordinates logistics across teams and with external vendors to implement successful high-quality eventsDevelops detailed timelines shows flows volunteer/staff assignment plans and production schedules as assignedManages event budgets and ensure cost-effective high-impact deliveryResearches books and coordinates with necessary vendors such as caterers florists and entertainersData Materials & Logistics (33%)Maintains and update a special events calendar with weekly updates to senior team and other updates as necessaryOversees and distribute RSVP lists for all eventsOversees and create nametags for all eventsEnsures data integrity through organized file and system management for projects and RSVPsMaintains accurate event records including sponsorships participation and attendanceManages branded collateral ordering and program material inventory ensuring availability and brand consistencyDriving is an essential function of this positionOther duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event.Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-profile environment.Must demonstrate UWMs Core Values in all internal and external interactions.Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
