DescriptionMaine Community Solar is looking for an enthusiastic Community Solar Sales Representative to join our team in Portland. This full-time hybrid position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy solutions in the community. As a part of the Renewables/Environment industry our mission is to make solar energy accessible to everyone.In this role you will be instrumental in promoting our community solar programs educating potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and helping them understand how they can participate in our initiatives. Your contributions will directly support our goal of creating a sustainable future while offering you the chance to grow in a rapidly evolving sector. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32 to $45 depending on experience.ResponsibilitiesEngage with potential customers through various outreach methodsEducate clients on community solar benefits and program detailsConduct presentations and webinars to promote solar initiativesBuild and maintain relationships with community stakeholdersAssist customers with enrollment in community solar programsTrack leads and manage customer relationships using CRM softwareProvide feedback to the marketing team for improvement of outreach strategiesStay informed about industry trends and local solar policiesRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is a plusStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPassion for renewable energy and sustainabilityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic understanding of sales principles and customer serviceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM softwareWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentPrevious sales or customer service experience is a plusBenefitsPaid training and sign-on bonus opportunitiesUncapped commissionComprehensive training programFlexible scheduleProven sales processesMarketing and operations supportWe are a successful acquisition company for the largest community solar developers in the country.
