Preeminent defense litigation firm with offices throughout the United States is looking for a Complex Litigation Attorney to join their team. The position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and is based out of the firms San Francisco. CA office. Ideal candidates will have experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 2-8 years of litigation experience, to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in-house counsel, the attorney in this role will have the opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients, as well as Internal teams of talented, experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
  • Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners.
  • Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
  • Communicate with clients and provide reports.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a JD from an accredited law school
  • Must be admitted to practice law in California and be a good standing member of the CA Bar
  • Must have 2-8 years of defense litigation experience
  • Experience with defending Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client-facing experience preferred
  • Must have the ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Legal project management experience is a plus.

Typical entry-level pay: $100k for Lawyers nationally
