Compliance Engineer - Quality & Environmental Systems (4x10 Shift)A Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Science Engineering etc.) is required along with 2 years of experience in a regulated or environmental compliance settingThis role offers a desirable 4x10 (4-day) shift schedulePay is up to $56000 for a highly qualified candidateThe weekly work schedule is four days per week (Monday-Thursday) with ten-hour shifts (5:00 am - 3:00 pm with some flexibility)Friday/Saturday availability is needed as production dictatesMust be a United States citizen or Green Card holderNo remote as this is a 100% onsite positionFull-time permanent W-2 employeeFull benefitsLocated in the Manitowoc Wisconsin areaThis full-time permanent Compliance Engineer - Quality & Environmental Systems (4x10 Shift) opening on first shift is at an established manufacturer undergoing a major culture transformation to create a highly welcoming and supportive work environment. Join a team focused on continuous improvement and achieving the highest standards of quality and efficiency.The successful candidates duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:Ensure products and processes adhere to EU regulations (primarily REACH) specifically concerning Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs)Determine if products exceed the 0.1% w/w threshold for SVHCs gathering necessary chemical information from procurement and the supply chainConduct or coordinate laboratory testing to confirm material composition and maintain a database of compliance data gathered from vendorsPrepare regulatory submissions update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) technical files and declarations of conformityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental compliance for new accessory partners and develop risk management strategies for SVHC replacement/phase-outThe background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Science Engineering etc.)2 years of experience in a regulated environment or compliance engineeringKnowledge of global environmental regulations including REACH SVHC RoHS TSCA and Prop 65Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Substances (BOS) review to identify potential risksStrong analytical problem-solving and communication skills with experience presenting technical informationPossess a solid work historyBeing a US citizen or green card holderHaving a residence within a 45-minute drive Key Skills GIS,System Design,Data Collection,Technical Writing,Wastewater,Autodesk,OSHA,Drafting,Calculus,Oil & Gas Experience,EPA,EHS Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 1 - 56160
