Compliance Tracking Specialist at Bowhead / UIC Technical Services

Overview COMPLIANCE TRACKING SPECIALIST (VDEPT) Bowhead seeks a Compliance Tracking Specialist to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. Responsibilities The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for: Monitor and ensure adherence to DoD 8570 compliance standards across all relevant systems and personnel. Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance with DoD 8570 directives. Maintain detailed records of certification statuses, training completion, and compliance reports. Provide guidance and support to team members on achieving and maintaining DoD 8570 compliance. Collaborate with IT security teams to implement necessary measures for compliance. Prepare compliance reports for management and stakeholders. Qualifications High School Diploma required or BA/BS degree prefered Two (2) years of experience in computer operations, customer support, or another related area. Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification required (i.e., Security+ CE). Proven experience in tracking and managing compliance with DoD 8570 standards. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to conduct thorough audits and assessments. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and standards. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
