Compounder at NATIONAL STAFFING ASSOCIATES, LLC

Perform compounding and bulk preparation of materials while adhering to safety, EHS, and cGMP standards. Responsible for accurate weighing, mixing, and processing of ingredients according to batch specifications. Key Responsibilities: Weigh and measure raw materials accurately according to formulas and batch cards. Compound, mix, and blend ingredients to meet product specifications. Operate and monitor mixing/blending equipment safely and efficiently. Collect and test samples during production to ensure quality standards (e.g., pH, viscosity, specific gravity). Perform color matching and ensure consistency with master standards. Follow batch instructions, record production data, and maintain batch documentation. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of workstations and equipment. Report any material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns promptly. Assist with unloading, transferring, and packaging bulk materials as needed. Follow all cGMP and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE. Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Bulk produced “Right First Time” (RFT) Customer approval of bulk batches Accuracy of compounding and minimal adjustments required Efficiency and adherence to production schedule Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in chemistry preferred. 1–3 years of experience in compounding in cosmetics, personal care, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or food industries (depending on level). Basic math and comprehension skills to read and follow batch instructions. Experience with formulation and handling chemicals preferred. Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of raw materials, mixing processes, and quality control. Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Ability to operate and maintain mixing and compounding equipment. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift, stand, and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
