As part of the HealthMart network, we combine the personalized touch of an independent pharmacy with reliable access to innovative compounding, helping physicians address unique patient challenges like allergies, dosage preferences, or discontinued medications.Position Overview:The Compounding Pharmacy Sales Representative will focus on educating and partnering withphysicians, clinics, and healthcare providers in southeastern Ohio to drive referrals andadoption of our compounding services. This field-based role involves detailed outreach tohighlight how our Crooksville lab can create customized medications that improve patientoutcomes, compliance, and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder withhealthcare sales experience, eager to position Shrivers as the go-to compounding partner forspecialized care.Key Responsibilities:Identify and prospect local physicians (e.g., endocrinologists, dermatologists, painspecialists, podiatrists, and veterinarians) through targeted outreach, networkingevents, and referrals to introduce our compounding capabilities.Conduct in-depth educational sessions, demos, and consultations with healthcareproviders, explaining the benefits of custom compounding—such as allergen-freeformulations, flavored options for pediatrics, flavored veterinary meds, or precise BHRTdosing—while addressing regulatory compliance (e.g., Ohio Board of Pharmacystandards).Collaborate with our compounding pharmacists to develop tailored proposals, samples,and case studies demonstrating real-world applications, like pain creams for sportsmedicine or libido-supporting therapies for women’s health.Build and nurture long-term relationships with physicians by providing ongoing support,including quick-turnaround custom orders, physician portal access for prescriptions, andfollow-up on patient feedback to refine services.Track sales activities, referral pipelines, and conversion metrics using CRM tools; reporton quarterly goals for new physician accounts and compounding revenue growth.Represent Shrivers at medical conferences, grand rounds, and local health fairs toshowcase our lab’s precision equipment and specialties, generating leads and enhancing brand visibility.Stay current on compounding trends, FDA guidelines, and competitor offerings to refinepitches and ensure all promotions align with ethical sales practices.Coordinate with internal teams for seamless order fulfillment, including free localdelivery and integration with our broader pharmacy services like immunizations andhome medical equipment.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or arelated field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of B2B sales experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcareservices; prior exposure to compounding, hormone therapy, or physician outreach is astrong plus.In-depth knowledge of compounding pharmacy principles, including sterile/non-sterileprocesses, dosage customization, and specialties like BHRT, pain management, orveterinary compounding.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translatetechnical compounding details into compelling, physician-focused value propositions.Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and telehealth/physicianengagement tools; familiarity with CoverMyMeds or similar for prior authorizations isbeneficial.Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for regional travel (primarily within a 100-mileradius of Crooksville, OH).Self-motivated with a consultative sales mindset, comfortable with 50-60% field time, including occasional evenings for physician dinners or events.What We Offer:Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $65,000 plus uncapped commissionpotential.Transportation: Company vehicle and fuel provided for business use.Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with companymatch; paid time off; and professional development (e.g., compounding certificationreimbursements).Supportive Culture: Work in a collaborative, family-oriented environment with access toour full pharmacy network for resources and cross-training.
