Elm Street, Suite 101Denton, TX 76201m1services.com Aircrew Survival Flight Equipment Technician IILocation Lemoore, CA Job Posting No 113767 outsidebar) to the bottom of the pageand click on the "Apply for thisposition" button.Start Date 01/03/2026 Contract NAS LemooreSalary Range $48.29Hour Posting Date 12/15/2025Union Yes FLSA Status Non-ExemptShift Work Possible FT/PT Full-timeRelocation No Travel PossibleJob Summary:M1 is looking for an Aircrew Survival Flight Equipment Technician IIPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:* This occupation includes jobs involved in disassembling, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, examining,fitting, modifying, maintaining, installing, and determining serviceability of aircraft survival and flightequipment such as helmets, torso harness assemblies, preservers, parachutes, life rafts, chemical andbiological protective devices, survival kits, oxygen masks, and anti-G-suits.* The work includes operational and circuit checks of emergency signaling and communication devicessuch as survival radios and beacons.* The work requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance procedures,pyrotechnic and explosive devices, and aircraft egress systems.* In addition, the work requires familiarity with aircraft assigned to the unit, detailed knowledge of theoperation and characteristics of aircraft survival and flight equipment, and the ability to demonstrate andexplain proper usage and operation of the equipment.Qualifications and Experience:* High School diploma or GED is mandatory.* Thorough understanding of DOD aircraft maintenance processes preferred.* Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data).* Must speak, read, write, and understand English.* Obtain/maintain security clearance, DOD CAC privileges, and Special Access Badge requirements.* Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as required.* Current valid U.S. Driver's License.* Ability to travel* Must be willing and able to deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous andprofessional manner.* Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.* Requires familiarity with aircraft assigned to the unit, detailed knowledge of the operation andcharacteristics of aircraft survival and flight equipment, and the ability to demonstrate and explain properusage and operation of the equipment.* Requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance procedures, pyrotechnic andexplosive devices, and aircraft egress systems.* Graduate of Navy PR or Air Force or Army MOS Course or equivalent. An aviators Breathing Oxygen (ABO)operator/analyst shall be a graduate of an approved ABO school* Minimum 3 years of related experience in aviation life support equipment maintenance.* Must be able to pass an ordinance physical and become explosives handling certified within thirty (30)days of date of hire or assignment to position.Page 2of 2* Familiarization with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series, and other applicable Navy instructions,maintenance instruction manuals, IPB's, manufacturer's manuals and company instructions as requiredfor the performance of job functions.* Must become familiar with Company and Government Environmental, Health and Safety, QualityControl and Property Control policies and procedures and local operating procedures within sixty (60)days of date of hire or assignment to position.Working Conditions:* Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing,stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.M1 Support Services, headquartered in Denton, Texas provides a variety of professional, technical, and maintenanceservices to the Department of Defense and government agencies.M1 Support Services is an equal opportunity employer.
