Our team solves tough meaningful problems that create a safer more secure world.Seeking a highly motivated COMSEC subject matter expert as a COMSEC Manager for a large production and depot account in Largo Florida. The role is to lead COMSEC operations for a manufacturing and depot facility that includes a growing COMSEC team who manage multiple complex accounts both traditional and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) to aid programs and operations in business and facility planning for programs needing COMSEC material.What You WIll DoManage a team of COMSEC professionalsPrepare shipment order receipt and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and encryption key Track supersession dates Submit accurate and timely NSA accounting reports Perform software upgrades to encryptorsSecure telephone equipment fill devices and other COMSEC equipment; and conduct/reconcile COMSEC inventories Compliance validations and incident reporting and investigation.Provide on-the-job training to the COMSEC team Production Control Front Line Leaders engineers assemblers and other COMSEC users in all aspects of COMSEC accountability security compliance and establish local COMSEC policy.Work directly with government representatives program engineers and the National Security Agency (NSA) to identify the proper application of cryptographic key and validate COMSEC requirements; and support multiple U.S. Government contracts and Foreign Military Sales through the gate process with planning scheduling and arranging program specific COMSEC supportCommunicate and influence Collins Aerospace program leaders from multiple Strategic Business Units (SBU) and their government customer agencies to set anti-tamper non-confirming material and Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module GPS module provisions and authorizations to RTX facilities vendor organizations and end customer organizations.Close collaboration with government program personnel on contract delivery requirements both domestically and internationally; plus Program Managers and Lead Engineers to develop In-Process Accounting Procedures (IPAP) and Key Management Plans (KMP) and Bases of Estimates (BOE).Maintain COMSEC portions of the Site Security Plan to include security aspects of factory floor procedures for the Largo facility and work outside of the Security department to resolve complex challenges enabling cost effective and efficient line processes for production depot assembly and repair line; resolve RCAS GCAR and CORE efforts. Effectiveness in this role with set the standard for COMSEC production and deport across Collins Aerospace.Local travel required to other locations as necessary.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 yearsprior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experienceExperience with management of a large COMSEC accountManagement of a COMSEC account in a production/depot environmentExperience in authoring and managing in-process accounting procedures and key management plansExperience in training COMSEC team members in all aspects of day-to-day COMSEC operationsExperience with End Cryptographic Unit management and load/fill proceduresExperience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipmentExtensive understanding of the NSA CSSM Policy 3-16 and its associated referencesQualifications We PreferPrevious NSA COMSEC certification preferredKMI training certificationExperience in the management ofWindows based information systemsKnowledgeable of legacy COMSEC equipmentRequired Education (including Major):What We OfferOur values drive our actions behaviors and performance with a vision for a safer more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
